lack of motivation to improve the app

it seems theres no motivation to implement some of the infinitely great potential this app has (both app and mac) due to lack of competition..

Ive sent the devs emails outlining what i think would be really useful, but there seem to be no plans other than acknowledging that theyd be good additions.

Ive paid for both the iphone and mac app because this is a good basic app, but mostly because there is no suitable competitor.

Three stars because its ok. four if they actually tried to improve it (like the UX on iphone! please allow resizing the vars sidebar its taking too much space). five if they succeed in improving it and actually care about adding more value to the apps at all. theres so much potential.

honestly, Im inclined to build a competitor myself. Either mine will be better, or this app will improve: end result we all get to enjoy a better app.
